Clowns & Characters

I am Toe-Knee the Italian Clown. Some say I am schizophrenic because I have 5 different characters! I have been clowning since 1991 and do this full time. Recently, 2014, I have been awarded “CLOWN OF THE YEAR AWARD” by the South East Clown Association and the “LOVE AWARD” by the Gator Clowns of Jacksonville. My specialties are magic, face painting, and balloons. I have won competitions in all of those categories and keep current of all clown subjects. I am a member of The International Brotherhood of Magicians, Clowns of America International, World Clown Association, South East Clown Association, and Gator Clowns in Jacksonville. In the past few years I have been the President of Gator Clowns (2012, 2013 & 2016) and before that I was the “Professor Clown” for two years ( I taught clown school and skills throughout the years.) Additionally, I have been honored to be a business Icon for a large hamburger chain in NE Florida and SE Georgia from 1997 through 2001.

EACH OF OUR CLOWNS HAVE THEIR OWN SPECIALTY AND SOME DO IT ALL.

For example – Toe-Knee, Pinkie Bee and Bow-Tie do magic shows, face painting and balloon sculpting.

Garbonzo has been doing balloons only for over 20 years. If you look closely you may see him on the Santa Claus page with Sheriff Giddyup.

Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus & Easter Bunny

The two most popular times of the year for “Characters” are December and Spring. Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus and even the Elves are extremely popular as you might know for the month of December, so in planning to need any or all of the Christmas Characters, plan way way way in advance. I have 3 authentic bearded, Santas and the rest of us are quite good looking but he is favored, of course. Santa Claus and his Mrs. stay in character, they don’t do magic shows, just magical moments with the children. Santa Claus & Mrs. Claus are also available for the Magical Night, December 24, think about it, a tuck in from Santa Claus, the night before Christmas – that is a Special Moment!!! The Easter Bunny is the Second most requested Character and comes whimsically dressed, he is known as – “Peter Rabbit.” He too stays in character, doesn’t talk, leads the children on egg hunts and take Great pictures with the children .
